I am a licensed landscape architect and academic, involved in landscape-led research projects focusing on cultural landscapes in Southeast Asia. I hold leadership positions internationally and nationally, promoting stewardship of our landscape through academia and the landscape architecture practice. I also engage in research, extension and consultancy work, collaborating through multisectoral engagements to create landscape character systems, guidelines, policy and grants reviews for culture and arts endeavours, and master plans for communities and regions in the country. I have drafted the project Luntiang Pook for PALA and currently help in the Philippines Landscape Architecture Design Standards book. I also assist government offices in landscape-based research and guidelines creation with the current draft of DHSUD’s Green and Open Spaces Guidelines for the Philippines and TESDA’s Revised Landscape Maintenance Module NCII as examples. Ultimately, I am committed to conducting research and collaborative design discussions to protect
and streamline landscapes management endeavours worldwide.
