About IFLA APR AAPME Awards 2024
A global award initiated by the IFLA Africa, Asia Pacific and Middle East (AAPME) regions. This is an international award for landscape design and planning recognition for resilience that was open to all IFLA regions and practitioners around the world for projects within the Africa, Asia Pacific and Middle East region. In addition to recognizing excellence in design, the awards provide a platform for showcasing innovative approaches, fostering collaboration, and inspiring future generations of landscape architects.
The prestigious IFLA APR AAPME Awards aim to recognize and showcase outstanding multidisciplinary projects grounded in the environment and social realm. The 2024 AAPME Award seeks to highlight the works of landscape architects committed to designing sensitively and demonstrating responsible practices. It aims to showcase efforts to address complex issues and challenges in our world today and tomorrow.
This year's awards received a total of 338 submissions, with 149 being awarded across 10 categories.
