IFLA APR PPP Cross talk aims to become a platform to connect Landscape Architects in Asia Pacific region. Cross Topic will cover social, and environmental issues in Asia, and hosted by various PPP working group.
In this second series, we discuss a popular yet critical issue of Rising Sea Levels. We would be sharing landscape challenges and understanding common issues toward Sea-level Rise caused by climate changes in Asia Pacific Region. We would start off with small island’s local approaches to coastal edge protection in Japan and exploring the methods to climate change in the Republic of Palau facing the crisis of sea-level rise.
