In a landmark event, the Presidents and Leaders of the Circular Cities Network (CCN), along with representatives from eight founding organizations, convened in Slovenia from June 24-26 for a Presidential Roundtable Meeting.

During the meeting, CCN refined its strategic vision and reinforced its commitment to fostering collaboration across geographical and professional boundaries. This approach ensures that the solutions and strategies developed are tailored to the unique needs of cities of all sizes, from megacities to smaller urban areas.

In recognition of the critical importance of youth engagement, CCN is launching the CCN Academy, aimed at nurturing the next generation of leaders in circular city practices.

The highlight of CCN’s calendar, the Circular Cities Summit 2.0, will take place in Dubai on September 11, 2024. This flagship event will bring together thought leaders, practitioners, and policymakers from around the globe to exchange ideas, share case studies, and explore the latest technologies in circular city practices.
